Keith Henry Ring

Keith Henry Ring, age 56 of Macomb, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on October 2, 2021. 

Keith was born on January 28, 1965 to Edward and Judith Ring in Detroit, Michigan. From day one, his charismatic nature drew people to him. It was hard not to like Keith, as he made everyone feel welcome.   He had the ability to light up a room like the stars that light up the sky. You would always know when Keith was in the room by the sounds of his harmonica or if the Beatles were playing on the jukebox. Keith truly had a golden heart and spread so much love and joy to all his family and friends. His family and friends meant the world to him, especially the love of his life Shawn, his daughters Marissa and Samantha, grandson Carson, and his dear mom Judy. 

Two of Keith’s favorite things in the world were the outdoors and sports. Keith was an avid hunter and absolutely loved taking his dog’s Cooper, Rufus, and Storm to the Upper Peninsula to hunt. He also loved golfing, fishing, and boating on Lake St. Clair (where he met his beloved wife Shawn).  Keith’s two favorite sports teams were the Detroit Tigers and his beloved Chicago Bears, you could always find Keith cheering them both on.  

Keith will be forever remembered by all who loved him. Beloved husband of Shawn Ring; loving father of Marissa Clauser, and Samantha Lipka; cherished son of Judith Ring; proud grandfather of Carson Clauser; cherished brother of Julie Khouri, and Kevin Ring; and loved uncle of Ben Khouri. He was also survived by many dear friends and family. 

Keith was preceded in passing by his dear brother Billy and father Edward William Ring. 

Visitation to take place on Friday, October 8 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, October 9 at the funeral home. Instate, or gathering time, 10:00 AM. Service at 11:00 AM.
