Katherine "Kati" Krull

Katherine “Kati” Krull passed away surrounded by love on March 1, 2023 

 Kati was born to Eckhardt and Patricia Zimmerman on March 1, 1982, in Royal Oak, Michigan. She met the love of her life, Jon, and the two were married during her favorite season, fall, on September 22, 2006. Together they raised five beautiful children. Kati absolutely loved her kids; everything she did was for them. She enjoyed going on walks, family trips to the zoo, being with friends, and traveling. Her favorite places to visit were Traverse City and Florida. She was a coffee lover and was known to enjoy watching reality TV shows such as Big Brother and the Real Housewives. Kati also enjoyed listening to 90’s hip hop; her favorite artist being Puff Daddy. She greatly enjoyed dance parties with her family in the kitchen. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, she greatly enjoyed the decorations, the giving spirit, and making Christmas special for her children. Kati was the backbone of her family; she was always taking care of everyone else. She was kind, protective, and fierce. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Loved wife of Jon; cherished daughter of Patti; loved daughter-in-law of Bill and Angie Krull and sister-in-law of Dawn Krull; Beloved sister to Jillian (Shawn) King and Keith Zimmermann; Devoted mother to Cara, Caleb, Carley, Chelsea, and Crosby. Loving cat mom to Thanos, Lilo, and Stitch. Loving aunt to Preston, Emy, Ady, Eston, Briana, and Brecken. Cherished granddaughter of Marianne Zimmermann; Cherished niece to many Aunts and Uncles.

Joined in heaven by her loving father Eck, and her two children born into heaven. 

The family asks family and friends to please dress casually, as that was Kati’s favorite way to be.
