Joseph Ronald Tucci

With heavy hearts but fond memories, we celebrate the life of Joseph Ronald Tucci, born on December 29, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan. Ron passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, in Clinton Township, Michigan, at the age of 75. A true family man, he leaves behind his beloved wife, Elizabeth Tucci, and his cherished daughters, Karyn Sawdon and Theresa Herrod. He was a proud grandfather to Tyler Tucci, Hailey Minelli, Jacob Herrod, Ian Minelli, and Hannah Sawdon, each of whom he adored immensely.

Ron was known for his affinity for NASCAR and his talent for fixing just about anything that needed repair—a true jack-of-all-trades. He had a unique zest for life, which included a penchant for online shopping and an undeniable love for chocolate. His spirit was infectious, often bringing laughter and warmth to every gathering.

Ron spent his professional life as a computer systems programmer for K-Mart Corporation, where his expertise and dedication were well recognized.  His self-taught skills and natural problem-solving abilities made him a standout in his field.

Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of Ron's life, where stories will be shared, laughter will be abundant, and memories will be cherished. Funeral services will be held at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home, 46530 Romeo Plank, Macomb, MI 48044, from 2-8 PM with a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM to celebrate the legacy of a man who was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
