Joseph Aluia, 91, of Macomb Township, passed away November 23, 2024.He was born in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Giuseppe and Maria Aluia.
Joe was married 66 years to his beloved wife, Jeanne. The two built a life full of love and happiness while raising their 6 children. He served 2 years in the United States Army during the Korean War. Joe worked at Ford Motor company for 48 years at the local 2280 plant. Joe was also a board member of the local credit union,a proud member of the Belgium Club, and he loved to travel anywhere he could with his wife.
Joseph was a devoted husband to Jeanne Aluia; loving father to Joanne (Tom) Wawrzyniak, the late Joe Aluia, Maria (Richard) Gall, Mike (Dianna) Aluia, Jeanne (Christopher) Orlando, and Kristina (Mike) Kidd; cherished grandfather to Dawn (Mike) Leder, Michele (Nick) Hoisington, Bill (Jackie) Wawrzyniak, Leah McCarthy, Quinn McCarthy, Samantha (Alex) Clark, Nicholas (Caitlin) Orlando, Matthew Orlando, Joshua (Courtney) Orlando, Jakob (Kimhun) Kidd, and Caeden Kidd; dearest great-grandfather to Madelyn, Riley, Benjamin, Lilly, Chase, Harper, William, Charlotte, Josie, Archer, Opal, and Everest; wonderful brother to sister Connie Maiuri, and to the late Jim Aluia, Gene Aluia, sister Concetta Aluia, and Mary Corrado
Joseph leaves behind many beloved family members and friends.
