It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Michael Sexton of Ray Township, Michigan, who left this world on August 22, 2025, at the age of 80. Born to James and MaryEllen Sexton in Mount Clemens on November 8, 1944, John lived a life filled with love, dedication, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors.
John met his beloved wife, Judith, when they were just kids, and the two were united in marriage on October 17, 1969. Their bond was a true testament to enduring love, and they shared countless joyful moments together until Judith's passing. John cherished his role as a father to their two children, who carry forward his spirit and values in their lives.
A devoted employee of General Motors for 30 years, John was a steadfast presence in the security department, where his colleagues admired his dedication and integrity. Beyond his professional life, he had a profound love for animals and found great joy tending to his garden and working outside, embracing the tranquility and wonder that nature provided.
John's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and his legacy will forever be remembered by family, friends, and the community he cherished. He was a man who took great joy in the simple pleasures of life, and his laughter will echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
