John Benedict Hartl

John Benedict Hartl, age 74 of Macomb, passed away January 8, 2020. He joined the army in 1966 through 1972. Once he returned home he married the love of his life, Marifrances Winfield. Together they had 2 children; Eric and Heather. John worked for AT&T for 36 years and he also enjoyed going to estate sales and antique shops. He loved going up north to Shingle Lake in Lake George and having bonfires and spending time with his family. His family was his life.
 
Loving husband of Mari; beloved father of Eric Thomas (Susie) and Heather Marie (Nathan) Hartman; cherished grandfather of Payton Thomas, Thomas William, Meghan Grace and Cooper John; dear brother of Grace Ann Rothwell, Daniel Edward Hartl and Kay Patricia Hartl. John is also survived by many extended loved ones and friends.
 
He will be greatly missed.
 
Visitation, Sunday, January 12 from 2-8pm with a 6pm funeral service.
