Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and friend. 

Jerome ‘Jerry’ Bonanno III passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2020. Age-30. He is survived by his mother Brenda Robinson (Jeff), father Jerome Bonanno Jr. (Jackie), sisters Jennifer Jordan (Jason) and Jessica Bonanno, and brother Dante Mastrovito and Joshua Bonanno.

Jerome was a kind and loving man who found his passion in life early at the age of 18 as a chef. He had a love of cooking and would always make dishes for his family and friends. His passion gained him a certificate in culinary arts from Earl C Clements Job Corp. in Indiana in 2008. From there he would work in various restaurants, from bistros to barbeque diners. He loved the fact he could express himself through his culinary art, and that his cooking could make someone’s day brighter and literally fuller.

As a child and teenager, Jerry loved sports of all kinds, including roller and ice hockey, soccer and baseball. He especially had a love for the Detroit Red Wings and Green Bay Packers, and never missed a game.

Those that knew him would describe him as caring and never judging someone for who they were, a ‘live and let live’ motto is what he went by. He would drop everything to be there for whoever needed him. He was wonderful to his friends and family and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 17 from 2-8PM at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home. Funeral to take place on Friday, September 18 at the funeral home. Instate, or gathering time, 9:30 AM. Service at 10:30 AM.
