It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Richard "Rick" Rogers, a loving father, brother, and friend. Born on June 19, 1955, to Albert and Mary, Rick lived a life full of joy and passion. He was a devoted father to his two daughters, Jennifer (Salvatore) Gigliotti and Rozalyn (Andrew) Trautmann, and he cherished every moment spent with them, their husbands, and his beloved grandchildren. Rick was immensely proud of all they had accomplished and took joy in simply being with them.
Rick loved life. He had a passion for good food and wine and cherished time spent with his friends and family. He could often be found playing cards, shooting pool, or sharing stories over a hearty meal. Always quick with a joke, Rick was everyone's favorite party guest. He worked hard to earn his brown belt in karate and took pride in continuing to practice his kickboxing skills.
Rick was a familiar face at the Senior Center, where he remembered everyone's name and playfully referred to his visits as "Senior Day Care." Rick’s zest for life was evident in the joy he found spending time with family and friends, including his significant other, Karlene. Rick will be deeply missed by his siblings—Sally (Vic) Kotwicki, Janice (late Jerry) Madynski, and Mary (Bob) Presta -his grandchildren, J.J. (Kelsie) Bock and Ivy, his great-grandchildren, Emberly & L.J., and all of his nieces and nephews.
Rick is reunited in Heaven with his loving parents, Albert and Mary, his step-parents, Mary Rogers and Frank Osebold, as well as his siblings, Susan (late Don) Mudd and Michael Rogers.
