Janet Arlene Patterson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Janet Arlene Patterson at the age of 87 on October 4, 2025. Janet was born on July 9, 1938, to Lee and Aima Lefever in Detroit, where she brought light and warmth to everyone around her.

Janet was a devoted wife to her husband, Bruce, and their love stood the test of time, creating a beautiful family filled with memories that will forever be cherished. Robed in positivity, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life—be it shopping sprees, decorating her home, or indulging in her passion for crossword puzzles and preparing all year for Christmas Bingo. Janet had a flair for style, shown through her love of getting her hair and nails done, always looking her best and encouraging those around her to do the same.

Cherished wife to Bruce; loving mother to Scott (Donna) Lehman and Kent (late Kelly) Lehman; treasured sister to Dennis (Patricia) Lefever; proud grandmother to Brett (Mariell), Garrett (Melissa), and Colton (Brianne) and to many great-grandchildren.

Joined in Heaven by her dear parents Lee and Aima, wonderful siblings Roger (Phyllis) and Lawrence (Marge), and her cherished grandson, Brandon.
