James William Marshall, 78 of Mount Clemens, passed away on September 29, 2021.
James was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania to Harry and Helen Marshall. As a young man out of high school, James proudly joined the United States Air Force. He attended bootcamp in San Antonio, Texas and then was stationed at Selfridge Air Force base in Harrison Township, Michigan. It was in Michigan that James would meet the love of his life and future bride, Patricia, on a blind date with a buddy. They quickly fell in love and was married on June 2, 1962 (a year to the day that they had their first date). Together, James and Patricia raised two beloved children: Julie and Paul. Family meant everything to James, and he especially loved to have his family together during all the holidays. For many years, James worked for Petitpren Inc., where he managed and oversaw a sales territory. He was also an avid reader, bird watcher and loved playing golf. James was a member of the Sterling Heights Lions Club for 38 years, a fraternity that was very near and dear to his heart. James will be forever missed by all who loved him.
Beloved husband of Patricia Marshall; cherished father of Julie (Paul) Dube, and Paul (Jennifer) Marshall; proud grandfather of Sara Dube, Stephen (Judith) Marshall, and Daniel Marshall; dear sibling of David (Barbara) Marshall, and Sue (Tom) Hamilton.
