Jacqueline Kay Neil, age 79 of Fraser, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.
Jacqueline was born on March 8, 1942 to John and Dorothy Neil in East Detroit, Michigan. As a young woman, Jacqueline went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in accounting, and for many years worked as an accountant for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Once she retired, she was able to pursue her many passions such as researching her family’s genealogy, travel, reading, tending to her beautiful gardens, and taking dance classes at the senior center. Jacqueline also loved cats, and owned many in her lifetime. Jacqueline will be forever remembered for her independent and kind nature, and sweet soft-spoken voice.
She will be forever remembered by all whom loved her.
Beloved sister of Edna Thieme; cherished aunt of Kerry (Jay) Jacobs, Cheryl (Tony) Janish, Scott (Sharyn) Thieme, Grant Thieme, Harry (Vonda) Larabee, Judy Larabee, and Kathy (Larry) Doctor. She was also survived by many loving family and friends.
Jacqueline was preceded in passing by her dear parents John and Dorothy, sister Annabelle (Rex) Larabee, and nephews Denny (Diane, Gallena) Larabee, and Randy Larabee.
Visitation to take place on Thursday, October 7 from 10AM – 2PM, with a funeral service at 2PM at the funeral home.
