Helen Margaret Arnott

Helen Margaret Arnott, age 96 of Macomb, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.

Helen was born on July 12, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Lydia Argile. Her family later relocated to Michigan, and it was here in Michigan that Helen would meet the love of her life, and future husband, Floyd Joseph Arnott at a A&P store in Detroit. They quickly fell in love, married, and raised two beloved children together: James and Lynn. Helen was a wonderful mother, and was so overjoyed to become a grandmother and great-grandmother later in her life. For 32 years, Helen was a dedicated telephone operator at Michigan Bell Telephone company (later becoming ATT) before retiring. In her free time, Helen loved to travel with her husband, dance, and try her luck at the casinos. Helen will be forever remembered by all who loved her.

Beloved wife of Floyd Joseph Arnott; cherished mother of James (Kathleen) Arnott, and Lynn (the late John) Arnott-Bryks; dear grandmother of Heather Arnott, Jason Arnott, Todd (Annie) Arnott, and Kelly (Michael) Borelli; loving great-grandmother of MacKenzie, Hunter, Delaney, Nikola, Sophia, Brady, Tessa, and Michael. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

She joins in heaven her dear parents William and Lydia, sister Pauline Blackstock, and son-in-law John Bryks.

Visitation to take place on Sunday, November 7 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral mass to take place on Monday, November 8 at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Instate, or gathering time, 9:30 AM. Service at 10:00 AM.
