Gregory Sokol

Gregory Sokol, age 74, passed away on October 14, 2023.

Greg was born to Walter and Helen Sokol on November 7, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan. He met the love of his life, Eva, and the two were married on August 2, 1974 at Our Lady of Redemption Church in Detroit. Gregs favorite thing to do was go fishing. He greatly enjoyed taking his grandchildren and nephews to go fishing. His grandchildren were his life. Greg served one term as the Grand Knight of the St. Isidores Knights of Columbus, and was very active in the church. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Cherished wife of Eva; loving father of Tom (Susanna) Sokol, and Lisa (Hector) Romero; beloved brother to Ken (Joann) Sokol, and Margaret (late John) Casey; proud grandfather to Talia, Nadia, Alessandro, Yasmeen, Sabrina, Santino, and Nina.

Joined in Heaven by his loving parents, Walter and Helen.
