Gerald "Jerry" Louis Boni

 Gerald “Jerry” Louis Boni, a dedicated husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, peacefully passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 73 in Macomb.

 Born on January 25, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, Jerry was the beloved son of Louis and Nazarena Boni.

Jerry's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family. A graduate of Fordson High School in Dearborn, Jerry crossed paths with his future wife, Deborah Jones, with whom he would build a lifetime of love and memories. Their love story began at a drive-in diner, and in 1971, they sealed their bond in marriage.

Professionally, Jerry pursued a successful career in marketing, specializing in software and computer sales. His hard work and dedication in providing for his family were unwavering testimonies to his character.

Family was Jerry's greatest joy. He was an exceptional father and cherished every moment with his grandchildren, particularly reveling in their sports events, where his encouraging presence was always felt.

In his leisure time, Jerry found solace on the golf course, indulging in his passion for the game every Sunday. His love for travel took him to Vegas and his family cabin in Houghton Lake, where he created unforgettable memories with his loved ones.

Jerry will be forever loved and remembered.

Beloved husband of Deborah Boni; cherished father of Jerry Boni II, Louie (Lisa) Boni, Shannon (Matt) Petroske, and Tony Boni; proud grandpa of Christian, Carson, Casey, Mikalya, Raelin, Calvin, and Tommy; brother of Mary Boni; and sister-in-law Sandy Boni. Jerry is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Jerry is preceded in passing by his loving parents Louis and Nazarena, and brother Rocco Boni.

Visitation to take place on Wednesday, April 3 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, April 4 at the funeral home. Instate, or gathering time, 9:00 AM. Service at 10:00 AM. Procession to Resurrection Cemetery to take place following the service where committal prayers and entombment will take place. ​​
