George Christopher Nasir

George Christopher Nasir, age 80 of Utica, passed away February 21, 2020. He joined the Marines and later became a special education teacher in the Detroit Public Schools. He worked there for 28 years before he retired. He had many hobbies that included painting, woodworking, gardening, and fitness. 

Loving brother of Sandra (Jack) Ketko, Rosie Nasir, Vicky (Kevin) Elias, and sister-in-law Jan; he is also survived by many extended loved ones and friends.

Predeceased by his siblings Louise (Bill) Ward, Louie Nasir, MaryJane (Chuck) Klea, and Anthony Nasir.
