Mr. Gary David Little, age 83, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in Troy, Michigan. Born on December 21, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, Gary lived a full and devoted life marked by service to his country, dedication to his work, and deep love for his family. A proud graduate of East Detroit High School, Gary went on to serve in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965 as an air traffic controller. His time in the military reflected his strong sense of duty and discipline—qualities that would continue to define him throughout his life. Following his honorable service, Gary built a successful career in the automotive industry as a quality control manager for an automotive supplier. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence earned him respect among colleagues and peers during a time when Michigan stood at the heart of American manufacturing. Gary was a man who cherished the simple joys of life. Whether he was bowling with friends, tending lovingly to his yard, or exploring new places through travel, Gary embraced each day with quiet enthusiasm and purpose. Above all else, Gary was a loving husband of 59 years to Linda Little. Together they built a life centered around family and shared values. He was a proud father to Gerald (Lori) Little and Kristine (Ray) Beals, and a doting grandfather to Brittany (Michael) Burkhardt and Kayla (Stephen) Little/Ciennik. His legacy continues through them and the many lives he touched with his steady presence. Gary is also remembered by his half-sister Danielle Farrelly and half- brother David (Michele) Little Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Little Sr. and Evelyn Little, and his stepmother Phyllis Little. May the memory of Mr. Gary David Little bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting reminder of a life well lived in faith, service, and love.
