Filomena Campbell

Filomena Campbell, age 67 of Macomb, passed away on July 6, 2021.

Filomena was born on July 28, 1953, to Pietro and Josephine Borrillo in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She was a proud mom of three beautiful daughters: Katherine, Amy, and Christine. Filomena was overjoyed to become a grandmother later in her life to her three grandchildren: Benjamin, Liam, and Emily. Family was extremely important to her, and she loved the time she was able to be with them. Filomena also loved to go to her favorite trivia and game nights with friends. She was a lover of music as well as a wonderful baker and cook. She was known for her smile that could light up the room, and her contagious laugh.

Filomena’s loving spirit and generous heart will be missed by all who loved her.

Beloved mother of Katherine (Ryan) Lackey, Amy Campbell, and Christine (Ryan) Brisse; cherished grandmother of Benjamin Brisse, Liam Brisse, and Emily Lackey; dear sister of Joseph (Amy) Borrillo, and Ann (Jerry) LeFeve; loved aunt and godmother of Dominic Borrillo.

Filomena was preceded in passing by her parents Pietro and Josephine Borrillo.

Visitation to take place on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Instate, or gathering time, 9:30 AM. Mass at 10:00. Procession to Christian Memorial Cemetery following the service for burial
