Edward Kosek Obituary
Edward Kosek, age 94, passed away on October 20, 2022.
Edward was born on May 26, 1928 to Edward and Loretta Kosek in Detroit. He married the love of his life, Lorraine, and together they raised four wonderful children. Edward retired from the Detroit police after 25 years on the force, was a proud US Army veteran. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage at Higgins Lake with his family and friends, and going hunting at his camp, Timberwolf in the UP. Edward was an avid fan of all sports and enjoyed playing Euchre with his lifelong friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Loving father to Michael (Lynn), Lynn Paradise, Daniel (Stacey), and Lisa (Oscar) Carnes; proud grandfather to Matthew (Sarah Myrand), Kelly (Craig Pessina), Lauren (Josh Kowal), Kyle, Mark (Jeninne), Eric, Jonathon (Emily), and Rachel; cherished great-grandfather to Audrianna, Gunner, Elijah, and Colton; dear brother to Tom and Charles Kosek.
