Edward Michael Homyack, age 76 of Macomb, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023.
Edward was born on March 12, 1947 to loving parents Harry and Celia Homyack in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. As a child, Edward and his family would move to Michigan where he could become the best big brother to his two sisters Beverly and Bonnie. In 1965, Edward graduated from Mount Clemens High School and went on to earn his Masters Degree in engineering at Michigan State University in 1969. For over 40 years, Edward was a talented and dedicated electrical engineer before retiring. It would be at work that Edward would meet his soulmate, and future wife, Joyce. Edward and Joyce would marry on May 7, 1983 in Warren, Michigan surrounded by their loved ones. Family was everything to Edward, and he loved being a father and later a grandfather in his life. Edward always supported his grandchildren, cheering them on at every sports event that they had. In his free time, Edward enjoyed nothing more than being in the great outdoors- hunting and fishing up north and at his family cabin (that he built with his boys) in Kalkaska, Michigan. He also loved country line-dancing with Joyce, going on cruises, visiting casinos and bowling. Edward had a heart of gold, and everyone that met him ended up loving him. Edward was one of a kind, and will be missed forever by all who loved and cherished him.
Beloved father of Jeffrey Noble, Dwayne (Holly) Noble, Melissa (Jonathan) Kage, and Steven Noble; proud grandfather of Matthew (Elizabeth) Noble, Christopher Noble, Sophia Noble, and Kaitlyn Kage; loving brother of Beverly (Doug) Pierce, and Bonnie (Mitch) Washborn. Edward is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Edward is reunited with his beloved wife Joyce Homyack, and parents Harry and Celia Homyack in heaven.
