Douglas Dale Johns

Douglas Dale Johns, age 63 of Lake Orion, passed away on June 18, 2021.

Doug was born on June 12, 1958, in Mount Clemens, Michigan. As a teenager, Doug would meet the love of his life and future bride, Holly Engelbert, while at an ice-skating rink. Doug and Holly’s friendship grew, and they quickly fell in love. They married in 1978, and together they raised two children: Megan and Alex. Doug was a wonderful father and was overjoyed when he became a papa to his three beautiful grandchildren. Doug enjoyed cars, and when he was younger he loved to work on his cars to restore. Doug was very hands on, and tried to fix anything in his home. He loved his music, and always had on some of his favorite classic rock songs playing. Doug will be forever remembered as a loving husband, father, papa, son, brother, and friend to all who knew him.

Loving husband of 43 years to Holly Johns; cherished father of Megan (Mark) Weigle, and Alex (Nikki) Johns; proud papa of Quinn, Sloan, and Cameron; beloved son of Carol Davidson; dear brother of Greg Johns, Tim Johns, Guy DiDio, and Lisa DiDio.

Doug was preceded in passing by his loved brother Mark Johns.

Visitation to take place Monday, June 21 from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
