Donna Marie (Allen) Quell

Donna Marie Quell, age 58 of Clinton Township, passed away February 29, 2020.

Donna was born and grew up in Detroit and was the daughter of Walter and Rose Allen.  She attended Cody High School and was flag girl in the band.  She was a state typing champion and went on to put herself through Michigan State University with an undergraduate degree in Business.  In May of 1990 she achieved a Master of Accounting from the U of M Business School and CPA.  She married Jerry in the fall of 1990 and had three extraordinary children Eric, Courtney and Rachel.  She became a totally devoted fulltime Mom in 1996.  Her passion was her family and friends.  She enjoyed entertaining and backyard pool parties.  In 2005 she purchased Cozy Rosie’s cottage on Lake Ogemaw with brothers Phil and Gary.  From there she became a lover of lake life, meeting new friends on the sandbar, and was known as the party planner and provider for many family and friends.  She was an avid reader usually have two or three going at a time.  She was loved and respected by all and was a truly caring person to anyone she met.  She will forever be missed.       

Loving wife of Jerry; beloved mother of Eric, Courtney, and Rachel; dear sister of the late Phil Allen and Gary Allen; cherished aunt of Olivia, Lauren, Brendan, Lindsay, and many Quell nieces and nephews. Donna is also survived by many extended loved ones and friends.
