Dianne Mathys

Dianne Mathys, age 76 of Macomb, passed away on November 21, 2021.

Dianne was born on May 29, 1945 to Paul and Vera Raniak in Detroit, Michigan. She was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. Family, friends and her dogs/grand dogs meant the world to Dianne, and she cherished the time she spent with them. She was an excellent and avid cook and cake decorator. She was always looking for a way to share her cooking skills and cakes with others. She also enjoyed traveling, but her greatest enjoyment was spending summer days in her pool. Dianne was known to all for being selfless, and always being there to help out anyone that needed it. Dianne’s loving heart, and sweet nature will be missed by all who love her.

Beloved mother of Wendy Morris, Scott (Norma) Goniwicha, Jeff  ( Tammy) Mathys, and Kelly Morse; proud grandmother of Alexandria Wiles, Esteban Goniwicha, Breanna Goniwicha, Sarah Morris, Fabian Goniwicha, Blake Morris, and Megan Morris; dear sister of Sally Liu, and loving fiancée of Keith Green.

Dianne was preceded in passing by her loving husband Jerry Mathys, and parents Paul and Vera Raniak.

Visitation to take place on Tuesday, November 30 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Memory sharing at 6:30 PM.

Funeral service  on Wednesday, December 1 at the funeral home. Instate, or gathering time, 10:00 AM. Service at 11:00 AM. Procession to Cadillac Memorial Gardens East to follow for committal prayers and burial.
