Diane Elizabeth Boyd

Diane Elizabeth Boyd, age 73 of Clinton Twp., passed away on February 28, 2023.

Diane was born on February 25, 1950 to Edward and Beverly Danahey in Detroit, Michigan. Diane would go on to graduate from Regina Catholic High School, where she made friendships that would last a lifetime. Diane worked as a bookkeeper, and in 2021 retired after many dedicated years. It was at work in the later 1980’s, that Diane met the love of her life, and future husband, Bruce Boyd. They would marry on May 4, 1990, and together would celebrate 33 years of happiness and love. Diane had a passion for gardening, and every year enjoyed spending hours out in her garden and tending to her house plants. She also enjoyed traveling, especially the times they were able to visit their favorite cabins in Northern Michigan. Diane will be forever remembered by all who loved and knew her.

Beloved wife of Bruce Boyd; dear sister-in-law of Lynne (Jim) Watters; best aunt of Ben (Jackie), Brian (Heather), and Erin (AJ); cherished great-aunt of Victoria, Jack, and Lulu; loved daughter-in-law of Walter Boyd; and loving owner of her cherished dog Rocky.

Visitation to take place on Sunday, March 5 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Funeral service to take place on Monday, March 6 at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home. Instate, or gathering time, 10:00 AM. Funeral at 11:00 AM. Committal prayers and burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
