It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis Edward Langan, age 77, on July 12, 2025. Born to Peter and Mary Langan in the vibrant city of Detroit, Dennis was a man of many passions and an unwavering spirit. He proudly served in the Navy, a time that founded his strong sense of duty and camaraderie.
After his military service, Dennis launched a fulfilling career as a pipe fitter for General Motors, often sharing stories of his journey and the friendships he formed along the way. Known for his adventurous spirit, he found joy in riding his motorcycle, taking unforgettable road trips with the AM Vets, and spending countless weekends on the water, where he worked side by side with his brother on his beloved boat.
Dennis was more than just a hardworking man; he was a devoted family man. In August 1982, he married the love of his life, Sherrie, and together they embraced the beautiful chaos of family life, raising two wonderful children. His laughter and warmth will be deeply missed, but his kindness, love, and the many lessons he imparted will live on in those he cherished most.
Proud father to Rachele Galanek and Mitchel (Alex) Langan; loving brother to Pete (Late Judy) and Mary Ellen (late Jim); Proud grandfather to Grayce, Calvin, Delilah, and Vincent.
Joined in Heaven by his dear wife, Sherrie, parents, Peter and Mary, and his dear sister Diane (late Louie).
