Denise Sucaet Obituary
Denise Sucaet, age 87 of Shelby Twp., passed away peacefully on July 2, 2021.
Denise was born on August 28, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan. As a young woman, Denise met her husband, George Sucaet. Together, they had six children: Thomas, Robert, Patricia, John, Kenneth, and Julienne. Denise was a wonderful mother to her children, and was over joyed to become a grandmother and great-grandmother. Denise loved to crochet, and make gifts to give her family and friends. She was proud of her Scottish ancestry, and loved to listen to Scottish music. She also loved to read, and traveling. Denise’s loving, happy heart will be missed by all who loved her.
Beloved mother of Robert (Deborah) Sucaet, Patricia (Ronald) Tobianski, John (Cathy) Sucaet, Kenneth (Jane) Sucaet, and Julienne (Robert) Walgrave; proud “gma-D” of 13 and "gma-DD" of 13; loving sister of Alexis, dear daughter-in-law Carolyn Sucaet.
Denise was also survived by numerous neices, nephews, family, and friends.
Denise was preceded in passing by her dear husband George Sucaet, and cherished son Thomas Sucaet.
Funeral Mass to be held at St. Isidore Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 6. Instate, or gathering time, 9:30 AM. Mass at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Denise's memory to the American Cancer Society Michigan chapter.
