Daniel Patrick Sloan, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on November 28, 2023, at the tender age of 28. Born on August 15, 1995, in Grosse Pointe, he brought immeasurable joy and happiness into the lives of his devoted parents, Michael and Lisa.
Danny was a remarkable individual who embraced his Irish heritage with great pride. His infectious enthusiasm for life was second only to his love for sports, particularly UFC and Notre Dame football. A proud Bronco and graduate of Western Michigan University, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science.
Above all else, Danny loved spending time with his family and friends. His positive energy and beaming smile lit up every room he entered. He was a reliable friend who always showed up for his loved ones. Danny loved hard, lived fully, and brought joy into the lives of all who surrounded him. Nothing brought him greater joy, however, than being in the presence of his cherished daughter, Laylah.
Danny was a hard-working and determined man. He spent many of his days working alongside his father, brother and their close-knit team at the family company. In his free time, he liked to relax with his family, and especially cherished their trips Up North and to Florida. He also enjoyed attending comedy shows and concerts, listening to The Rolling Stones and Red Hot Chili Peppers, cooking and playing with the family dogs.
Beloved son of Michael and Lisa; proud father of Laylah; cherished brother of Alexandra and Jeffrey.
Joined in Heaven by his Grandparents Thelma and Orlando Miles, Donald and Barbara Sloan, and grandmother Joyce Handlon, his Aunt Maureen Addis, and Uncles Donald Sloan, Bob Maurer, and Ricky Miles
