Daniel Roy Geer

Daniel Roy Geer, age 55 of Sterling Heights, passed away on January 1, 2021.

Daniel was born on May 20, 1965 to Roy and Mary Geer in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On January 3, 2004, Daniel married the love of his life, Julia Ann Phillips, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Daniel loved his family and friends and cherished the time they spent together. Daniel also enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and watching his favorite sport teams (Detroit Tigers, Michigan State Spartans, and Green Bay Packers!). He also loved to travel to Torch Lake with his family, and hunting in Lewiston. His faith and church were extremely important to him. He volunteered much of his time at the church and school.

Daniel will be forever remembered in the hearts and memories of those who loved him.

Beloved husband of Julia Geer; cherished son of Roy and stepmother Lois Geer; loving brother of John (Linda) Geer, Pam (Dave) Weishaar; dear brother-in-law of Suzette & Brad Quail, and Brent & Anne Phillips; loved furbaby Nitro.

Daniel was preceded in passing by his mother Mary Geer, niece Amanda, Nephews David Weishaar, and Parker Quail, brother in law Ken Phillips, mother-in-law Bonnie Phillips and father-in-law William Phillips.

Visitation on January 7, from 2-7PM. Funeral Service at Peace Shelby Lutheran Church. Instate, or gathering time, 10AM. Service at 11AM. Burial at Meade Cemetery in Macomb.
