Dale Adam Zarzycki, a loving husband, devoted father, proud Marine, and passionate athlete, passed away on October 10, 2024, at the age of 67.
Dale, born on November 9, 1956, in Farmington Hills, Michigan, was a proud graduate of Sterling Heights High School. Dale bravely served his country as a United States Marine, embodying loyalty and dedication in all that he did. His commitment to serving his nation continued to be a pillar of his identity throughout his life. In 1986, fate brought Dale together with the love of his life, Lisa. Their love story blossomed, leading to a joyous union in marriage at Our Lady Queen of All Saints in Fraser. Together, they shared an unwavering bond that served as a guiding light for their growing family. Dale's adventurous spirit and passion for competition took him around the globe, competing in prestigious races alongside his loved ones. His dedication to fitness and sportsmanship defined his character and inspired those around him. He was most proud of competing for Team USA in the World Multisport Championships in Ibiza, Spain and Townsville, Australia. A hardworking and diligent individual, Dale found fulfillment in his role as a manager at TSM Corp. His tireless work ethic and dedication to excellence set him apart in all his endeavors. Yet, amidst his professional pursuits, Dale's heart remained devoted to his cherished family, whom he loved above all else. In honoring Dale's legacy, we embrace his adventurous spirit, unwavering commitment, and genuine love for those around him. May his memory live on in our hearts forever.
Loving husband of Lisa Mestdagh Zarzycki; proud father of Joseph (Morgan) Zarzycki, Jacob Zarzycki, Luke (Sommer) Zarzycki, Danielle Zarzycki, and Andrea Zarzycki; best grandfather of Reid Zarzycki, Rey Zarzycki, Zoë Zarzycki, and Ezekiel Zarzycki; cherished brother of Ann Marie Jones, Dennis Zarzycki, and Angela Jones; beloved son-in-law of Ronald & Elizabeth Mestdagh, and dear brother-in-law of Kim (Rick) Warnack, and Mark (Kelli) Mestdagh. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Dale is preceded in passing by his parents Frank and Patricia Zarzycki, brother Darrel and his wife Julie Zarzycki, and his sister-in-law Michelle Zarzycki. Visitation to take place on Thursday, October 17 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM, with a memory sharing and Rosary starting at 6:00 PM.
Funeral Mass to be held on Friday, October 18 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Instate, or gathering time, 11:30 AM. Mass at 12:00 PM.
Committal prayers and burial to take place on Monday, October 21 at 9:30 AM at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
