Chris Jaksa

Chris Jaksa, age 65 of Shelby Township, passed away November 14, 2020.

Chris was born on December 24, 1954 to Ionita and Sofia Jaksa in Uzdin, Serbia. He married the love of his life Sofija Neda on May 25, 1973. Together they raised two children; Mike and Christopher. For 45 years Chris worked for Ford Motor Company and retired April 1, 2020. He will be forever remembered as a deeply devoted father, husband, and grandfather.
Loving husband of Sofija; beloved father of Mike (Jennifer) and Christopher; cherished grandfather of Brendan and Isabella; dear brother of Linca (Panta) Ardelean; loving uncle of Daniela. He is also survived by many extended loved ones and friends including his granddog Willow.
He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, November 18 from 2-8pm with a service at 6pm. The funeral service will be at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home Thursday, November 19 at 10:00am, instate 9:30am. Procession to Resurrection Cemetery to follow.
