Catherine G.
Cooley, age 89, passed away on January 7, 2023.
Catherine
was born on June 24, 1933 to William Harry and Mary Lorena Wathen in Lebanon, Kentucky. As a
young woman, Catherine moved to Michigan where she raised her family. She was
very active for many of her years, playing in golf and bowling leagues, and
also enjoying snowmobiling up north. She
loved her coffee and enjoyed a good garage sale. Her joy of cooking propelled her into the Food Service
Industry and ultimately she launched her
own catering company.
Catherine
was a long-time parishioner of Lakeside Assembly of God, where she participated
in many of the women’s activities and ministries within the church. Family was very important to Catherine. She
planned big holiday gatherings and cherished
the memories that they created.
Catherine
will be forever remembered by all who loved her.
