It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Victor Harris, a beloved husband, father, and friend. Born on June 27, 1960, in Windsor, Ontario, Bruce was the son of Arthur and Alice Harris. He moved to Michigan as a young man, and shortly after, he met the love of his life, Diana. On November 3, 1990, they joined together in marriage and raised three wonderful children.
Bruce dedicated 27 years of his life as a Project Engineer for Meritor, where he showed his devotion to furthering his knowledge and understanding of his field, while also creating many friendships along the way. He found joy in the simple things in life - from spending time with his beloved dogs to enjoying the great outdoors while camping. He had a love for rock and roll and the blues, attending concerts with his brothers and friends whenever possible.
As a true sports enthusiast, Bruce had a special place in his heart for hockey and football, especially the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Lions. He believed in celebrating family, enjoying summertime adventures, and relishing the moments spent at his brother's property in Northern Ontario.
Cherished husband to Diana; proud father to Monica, Frank (Alex), and Jack; wonderful brother to Gail (Al), Mark (Lori), and Keith (Nicky).
Predeceased by his loving parents, Arthur and Alice Harris.
