Bonnie Darlene Roland, a vibrant and spirited soul, passed away on August 13, 2024, at the age of 75. Born in Detroit to John and Darlene Cooney on November 13, 1948, Bonnie was a beloved mother of three. Her zest for life was infectious, always on the go, whether she was indulging in her passion for shopping, relishing dinner outings, spending time with her grandchildren, or exploring the world through travel.
Bonnie found joy in the simple things - a good laugh during a comedy show, the serenity of a yoga session, leisurely walks, and staying active through exercise. Her presence illuminated every room she entered, bringing laughter and warmth to all she encountered.
Cherished wife to George; beloved mother to John (Kristin) Washburn, Mark (Trisha) Washburn, and Brian Roland; amazing sister to Sue (Kim) Langenbacher; proud grandmother to Chad (Lisa) Washburn, Rachel (Maxx) Crosby, Lauren (Christian) Walkley, Ashley (Emanuel) Romero, and Emma Washburn; caring great-grandmother to Saige Washburn, Ella Crosby, and Savanna Washburn.
Joined in Heaven by her loving parents, John and Darlene, and her brother, Ron Cooney.
