Bonnie Marx

Bonnie Marx passed away on August 14, 2022 at age 62.

Bonnie was born March 18, 1960 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to Alfred and Eileen Clark. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School through eighth grade and graduated from Chippewa Valley High School in 1978. She went back to school and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University in December of 2000.

Bonnie worked at TACOM from 1979 until her retirement in August of 2019. She moved through the ranks from Secretary through a series of roles, ultimately ending up as a Logistics Manager. In the early '90s while a part of the Egyptian Coproduction Office, she was lucky enough to travel to Cairo, Egypt to see the pyramids and other sights.

Post-retirement, she had been serving as a poll worker in all the local elections, and she enjoyed spending the long days chatting with her coworkers. She looked forward to having her grandkids over a day or two most weeks.

Bonnie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dining out, shopping, watching tv and movies, reading, listening to music, traveling, and crafting. She was a caretaker since a young age and always put others before herself. She was generous with everyone around her, helping to solve problems in any way she could. She genuinely loved her people and cared about what was happening in their lives.

Beloved mother to her children Stephanie, Gregory (Lauren), and Brett (Nicole) Marx, and her stepdaughter Christina (Tim) Bramble. Cherished grandmother to Ethan and Madelyn Marx, and Meredith and Ian Clemmons. Dear sister to Joyce (Lin) Delidow, Dennis (Kathy) Clark, and Connie (Tom) Warzecha.

Bonnie was preceded in passing by her parents Alfred and Eileen Clark, and her husband of 40 years Michael Marx.

Memorial donations in Bonnie’s memory may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
