Bonilyn "Bonnie" Catherine Peters, a compassionate and loving soul, peacefully passed away on November 3, 2023, in Macomb at the age of 81. She was born on August 2, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan.

Bonnie embraced life with warmth and kindness, spreading joy wherever she went. In 1973, she united in marriage with the love of her life, Thomas Peters, with whom she shared an impressive journey of fifty beautiful years. Together, they embarked on countless adventures, with cruises being among their favorite experiences. Their unbreakable bond stood as a testament to enduring love.


Bonnie possessed a remarkable talent in the kitchen, with her culinary creations leaving a lasting impression on all fortunate enough to taste them. She found immense pleasure in preparing meals for her loved ones, her dishes skillfully combining flavors and love.


Family played an incredibly significant role in Bonnie's life. She cherishingly spent holidays surrounded by her loved ones, particularly relishing the joy and magic of Christmas traditions.


Bonnie was an unwavering pillar of support for her children, eagerly attending every activity and proudly cheering them on every step of the way.


Crafts held a special place in Bonnie's heart, and she would often be found delighting in the beauty of handmade creations at local craft shows. Her own artistic endeavors showcased her remarkable talent and passion for creativity.

Beloved wife of Thomas Peters; loving mother of Gregg (Karen) Peters, and Marissa (Paul Obeid) Myatt; proud grandmother of Gavin Peters, Trevor Peters, Connor Myatt, and Bryce Myatt; cherished sister of the Kevin Kartje, and the late Keith Kartje. Bonnie is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation on Friday, November 10 from 11AM – 12:00 PM at the funeral home, with a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
