Ben Karl Chodyniecki, age 84 of Macomb, passed away on July 21, 2021.
 
Ben was born on October 30, 1936 to Carl and Bertha Chodyniecki in Hamtramck, Michigan. As a young man, Ben proudly joined the United States Air Force and served his country with dedication and honor. He later met the love of his life, and future bride, Dorothy Ann Mardeusz. They made countless beautiful memories and had many cherished years together. Ben will be forever missed by all whom loved him.
 
Beloved husband of Dorothy Ann Chodyniecki; beloved brother of Julia (Gene) Zyla, and Carlene Ward; dear brother-in-law of Stanley Mardeusz, Joseph Mardeusz, Leonard (Cora) Mardeusz; Lawrence (Rose) Mardeusz,  Wallace (Debbie) Mardeusz, and Irene (Gene) Boduch; he was also survived by many cherished nieces, and nephews. 
Ben was preceded in passing by his parents Carl and Bertha Chodyniecki, and brothers Alex, Albert, Joseph, Carl and Edward.
 
Visitation to take place on Monday. July 26 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Funeral service on Tuesday, July 27 at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Instate, or gathering time, 9:30 AM. Service at 10:00 AM.
