Baldassare "Baldo" Billeci

Baldassare “Baldo” Billeci, age 84 of St. Clair Shores, passed away December 14, 2020.

Baldo was born on July 18, 1936 to Ignazio and Maddalena Billeci in Palermo, Sicily. While living in Palermo he met the love of his life Mary Manzo. They wed in Sicily and again when they moved to Michigan. Together they raised two children; Paul and Maddalena “Rose.” Baldo loved to work. He owned his own hair salon in Grosse Pointe and also worked as a painting contractor. In the last 10 years he became a snowbird and enjoyed spending his winters in Delray Beach, Florida with Mary. He always cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Some of his greatest memories were those made on his trips back to Sicily to visit his brothers, nieces, and nephews.

Beloved husband of Mary; loving father of Paul, Maddalena “Rose” (Richard) Dubak; cherished grandfather of Daniella and Nicholas Bruce; dear brother of Giovanni and the late Paolo; Baldo is also survived by many extended loved ones and friends.

He will be greatly missed.

Visitation on Thursday, December 17 from 2-7 PM. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 18. Instate, or gathering time, 9:30 AM. Service at 10:00 AM.
