Anthony John Krajewski peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on December 21, 2023, at the age of 66. Born on May 15, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, Anthony lived with a work hard, play hard-er attitude, and molded himself aspiring to be a man he looked up to, his father.
Tony had the ability to command a room. A man of few words, when he spoke, people would listen. He was always ready to share a hearty laugh with friends, or provide some straight forward advice to help set your mind straight. Friends would find him in his element, enjoying a cold drink and the camaraderie at the local corner bar.
His favorite way to unwind at home was down at the hot tub of his condominium complex. It was here, he developed a special relationship with his nephews, spending 7 summers together after getting them jobs as the pool boys at his complex. The job offer came with strict instructions to “keep my hot tub at 106 for me boys”. Many fun days, nights, stories, advice, and laughs were shared with his nephews.
As a boater, Tony found freedom and fun on the open water. Weather docked in the marina, cruising the lake, or breaking his engine and sending his brother rolling across the boat floor. He cherished the moments spent navigating the waters. Music was another passion that brought immense joy to Anthony's life. He would often jam along to the tunes of Elton John, Chicago, or Rod Stewart. He shared a love of his Detroit Tigers with his family, but his Sundays were reserved for his “greatest of all time”, Tom Brady. Upon his retirement, his nephews tried to convert him back to our Detroit Lions. He was hesitant, but was getting back on the train! Anthony had a knack for whipping up delicious meals, with his chili standing out as his specialty. His culinary skills were unparalleled, and he took great pride in preparing fancy feasts to be enjoyed. Pets held a special place in Tony’s big heart. Among them, Buddy and Kegger occupied a significant spot, sharing countless memories, loyalty, moments of comfort, and so much love.
Beloved son of Patricia; Proud partner to Tami; Cherished big brother to Mark (Donna), Lynn (Kevin) and Lisa; Delighted Uncle to Eric, Andrew, Nicholas, Michael and Evan.
