Anthony F. Campo

Anthony F. Campo, age 73 of Shelby Twp., passed away on May 1, 2021.

 

Anthony was born in Detroit, Michigan to Salvatore and Eleanor Campo on January 12, 1948.  As a young man in high school, Anthony worked at Sears where he met the love of his life, and future bride, Jane Blomfield.  They quickly fell in love, and three years later, they were married. They celebrated 50 years of marriage and raised two children: Anthony and Cheryl.  In 1968, Anthony enlisted in the United Stated National Guard and served with dedication for six years. He worked at Chrysler and then for General Motors as a Senior Autobody Designer and Manager.  In his free time, Anthony loved to travel with his wife, go camping, and spend time with his family.  He also enjoyed bowling and having dinner and movie double dates with their good friends Kathy and Larry.  Anthony was a loving and caring husband, father, Papa, brother and friend to all who knew him.  He will be forever missed.

 

Beloved husband of Jane Campo; cherished father of Anthony (Nicole) Campo, and Cheryl (Terry) Chaudhuri; proud papa of Ian, Vaughn, and Connor; dear brother of Frank (Jackie) Campo and Palma Campo.

 

Visitation to be held at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home in Macomb Twp. on Saturday, May 8 from 1-6 PM. Service at 5:30 PM.
