Anna Lou Bondy, age 99 of Clinton Twp., passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022.
Anna, known as Lou to many, was born on April 19, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Louise VanBreeman. As a young woman, Lou worked during WWII at the Ford River Rouge Plant where she served her country by welding center. She would also go on to raise two beloved children: Douglas Jay Robinson and Sheryl Ann Sniffin. Lou was an amazing mother to her children, and was so overjoyed to become a grandmother and great-grandmother later in her life. In 1999, Lou would marry Robert Bondy. Lou and Robert met while she was in a senior fashion show, and they immediately hit it off. Lou was a long time member of the Kiwanis Club, and volunteer of the Selfridge Air Museum. In Lou’s free time, she loved camping, travel, and spending time with her beloved family and numerous friends. Lou will be remembered for being a feisty, loving, and kind soul that could make friends easily wherever she went.
Lou will be forever remembered by all who loved her.
