Ann Robinson, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on December 15, 1937, Ann was raised in the Mt. Clemens, Michigan area, where she grew up as one of ten children in a large, loving family.
She is survived by her sister, Margaret Klein (Mel), and her brother, George Fournier. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Edna Fournier-Wilcox and Everett Fournier, as well as her siblings: Mary Francis Van Hollenback (Rodney), Catherine Tilney (Tom), Lucielle Macray, Donald Fournier (Shirley), Eugene Fournier, John Fournier, and Thomas Fournier.
Ann was the beloved wife of Edward “Pat” O’Rourke. With over 32 years of marriage, they shared a life filled with companionship, laughter, and a love of travel with their friends. Together, they created many cherished memories through the places they explored and the life they built before his passing three years ago.
Ann is survived by her loving daughters, Carol Pietz (Randy) and Terri Soffin-Stayer (Dave), and her cherished grandchildren, David, Daniel, Danielle, Kyle, and Trevor. Ann was present for countless meaningful family moments over the years—holidays, gatherings, and warm summer afternoons spent around the pool.
She had a playful side that will be fondly remembered, especially her well-known preference for hotdogs cooked just a little extra at the family barbecues. Ann dedicated more than 30 years of service as the Business Manager for the Clinton Township Water Department, where she was respected for her professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic. She deeply valued the relationships she built throughout her career.
Ann lived life on her own terms, with independence, a playful nature, and a sharp sense of humor. She remained an enduring part of her family’s story and will be remembered for the moments shared and the memories that remain. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
