Andrew Gonzales, a beloved husband, loving family member and friend, passed away on August 10, 2024. Born on June 15, 1983, in San Bernardino, California, Andrew’s life was characterized by his passion, independence, and strong work ethic. Andrew is survived by his beloved wife, Gina; his dog Sigmund; his father, Hank; and the cherished memory of his late mother, Shirley. His absence leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his legacy of joy, love, and laughter will continue to inspire.
Andrew embraced life with enthusiasm, always seeking new adventures and experiences. He had a profound love for cars and dogs, enjoyed traveling, and found pleasure in working out. His great sense of humor and sense of style were integral parts of his vibrant personality. Andrew treasured time spent with friends and family, always bringing joy and laughter to those around him. His spirited personality and enthusiasm were felt by all who knew him, especially Gina, as they had been together for over twenty-three years.
A Registered Nurse by profession, Andrew was known for his unwavering commitment to his career. His profession was not just a job but a calling, reflecting his desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home located at 46530 Romeo Plank Road in Macomb, Michigan, with a memorial service scheduled for August 24th, at 6:00 pm. All who knew Andrew are welcome to join in honoring and celebrating his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Do Good Dog Rescue (Ways to Help | DOG Animal Rescue (doonlygoodrescue.com)) in Andrew’s memory, reflecting his spirit of giving, his commitment to making a positive impact on the world, and his passion for rescuing dogs.
