Andrew Ross Germain

Andrew Ross Germain, age 59 of Macomb, passed away on August 29, 2021.

Andrew was born on August 10, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan to Alfred and Carolyn Germain. As a young man, Andrew would met the love of his life and future bride, Amy Mroz, who lived in the same childhood neighborhood as his family. Together, Andrew and Amy raised two beloved children; Caitlin and Andrew (A.J.). Andrew was a fantastic dad to his children, and nothing made him happier or more complete then spending his time with his family. He also loved his Florida trips with his family, where he was able to soak up the rays on the beach and pool. Andrew had a gift of making friends anywhere he went, and could charm anyone with his humor and welcoming spirit. At home, he enjoyed entertaining with his wife Amy and hosting many parties and get togethers with family and friends.

Andrew will be forever remembered and cherished by all who loved him.

Beloved husband of 26 years to Amy Germain; loving father of Caitlin, and A.J.; best fur dad to Coconut and Chewie; dear brother of Jeri Lynn (Harry) Godlewski; proud uncle of Carrie (Chip), Brandon, Jenna, Zack, and Alison; loving son of Carolyn Germain; loved son-in-law of Dan and Peggy Mroz; cherished brother-in-law of Michelle; and dearest great-son-in-law of Richard and Donna Ledwig. Andrew was also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family and countless friends.

Andrew was preceded in passing by his loving father Alfred Germain, sister Leah, brothers Vincent and Alfred, nephew Vincent, and grandmother-in-law Lorraine.

Visitation to take place on Saturday, September 4 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, September 5 at the funeral home. Instate, or gathering time, 10:00 AM. Service at 11:15 AM.
