Obituary

Allan Duane Ladson; born December 23, 1934 in Bucyrus, North Dakota to Russell and Lavina Ladson. He passed away at the age of 88 years on March 26, 2023 from complications of Dementia. He attended Denby High School in Detroit, Michigan. He had a career for 37 years with the Detroit Fire Department and retired as Battalion Chief, December 22, 1994.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen, five children: Steven (Robin), Cynthia (Jeff), Nicole, Amy (Felix), stepson Michael Hughey, and sister Shirley Labrenz; 8 grandchildren: Joshua, Nathan (Sherry), Brandon (Jess), Darin, Caiden, Emelia, Alina and Sara; 6 great grandchildren: Jaxon, Jacob, Wyatt, Wesley, Willow, and Wiley.

Predeceased by his wife Dorothy Wolcott Ladson, parents Russell and Lavina Ladson, brother Richard and sister Lee Ortman.
