Death is not common to us as it was to our ancestors. But death comes to us all.
When it comes, even if expected, we are devastated.

We are the place you hope never to call.
But call you must.

We understand this.
So we have set out to create a different kind of funeral home, one that is comfortable and inviting, light and airy, not dark and claustrophobic.

We are also different by design.
Our Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired architecture and the Prairie Craftsmen furniture makes everyone feel comfortable and relaxed when they enter. Our site looks out onto wetlands, providing views of nature and not a parking lot. Everywhere there are comfortable places for people to sit and visit.

We are not a scary place for children.
That’s because we’ve provided a sound-proof playroom just for them, with age-appropriate toys, games -- even an Xbox with Guitar Hero ®.

We care for the living and the dead.
And we do so with sensitivity, compassion and attention to detail. The Lee-Ellena Funeral Home acknowledges:

A funeral, like any major life event, involves many decisions.
We guide you through these decisions and handle the details so you can concentrate on the important things.

A good funeral doesn’t happen by chance.
We strive to make the experience a true celebration of your loved one’s life, provided in a relaxed and comfortable setting for all family members. And we stay in touch afterward, with grief counseling and follow-up to your family, in the difficult weeks and months to come.
